Best Buffets In London (2024)

We love a bottomless brunch as much as the next person, but let’s face it: you’re often left hungry – and the next day is never fun. So what about if the unlimited element was not prosecco, but food? All-you-can-eat buffets might not have the best reputation (cue memories of childhood parties at Pizza Hut), but there are a handful of gems dotted around London. Whether you’re in the mood for lots of sushi, an Indian feast, Middle Eastern brunch dishes aplenty, there’s something for all cravings – and budgets – in our pick of the best buffets in London.

Some top tips? Don’t get overexcited: start small and eat slowly, so you can actually enjoy the food and avoid filling up too quickly. And while some buffets offer free-flowing drinks too, don’t go overboard on carbonated drinks – still water is your friend here.

All-You-Can-Eat Restaurants In London

Babur, Forest Hill

In the mood for some Michelin-starred curry? Head south-east to Babur in Forest Hill, a neighbourhood favourite which has been around since 1985. On Sundays, the restaurant offers an all-day buffet experience, featuring an impressive spread of Indian classics – from traditional Mughlai chicken to slow-cooked lentil dal and deep-fried tilapia. Enjoy in the cosy dining room or in the Rajasthani marquee tent outside, a popular lockdown feature that ended up becoming permanent. The best bit? It’s a great bargain: just £23.95 for adults or £15.95 for children.

Within the spread you’ll find not just sushi, but an array of Japanese fare – tempura, noodles, steamed buns and more. Afterwards, walk it off with a stroll around Battersea Park.

Visit on a Sunday or a Bank Holiday to make the most of its Lazy Sumday offering, where you can gorge on all-you-can-eat buns and dumplings. The menu includes crispy tofu, crispy duck spring rolls and dumplings aplenty – spicy chicken, pork and prawn sui, spinach and mushroom and more. Fancy a boozy afternoon? You can add a bottle of prosecco for just £15 (but be sure to sip it slowly – see our all-you-can-eat advice above). The Ned, Bank

You’ll find one of London’s most decadent buffets at The Ned, the City’s glamorous party palace housed in a former banking hall. The hotel and members’ club is home to a whopping ten restaurants, but on Sundays the place to be is Millie’s Lounge, where you can feast on unlimited seafood, roasts, desserts and more with the special Ned’s Feast offering. On the menu you’ll find lobster, oysters, sausage rolls and charcuterie boards – and that’s before you’ve even got stuck into the mains section, which includes roast pork, pigs in blankets, Yorkshire puds and crispy roasties. Make sure to save some space for the sweet stuff though: there’s also an array of cakes to choose from, plus various cheeses and fruit.

Jones & Sons, Dalston

If you’re after a bottomless brunch where both the food and the drinks are unlimited, head to Jones & Sons in Dalston, which serves one of the best buffets in London. Every weekend, diners can wolf down as much Eggs Benedict, buttermilk fried chicken, French toast and pancakes as they can manage, with an option to add free-flowing alcohol (prosecco, G&Ts, Buck’s Fizz) or coffees and mocktails. Be careful with who you bring, though: you can only order another round of food once everyone on the table has finished, so that friend with a tiny appetite might not make the cut…
