Kris Marshall has revealed a harrowing incident that now influences his interactions with fans, especially when he's with his children. He recounted, "That's because when my son was about two, we were on a pier and I stopped to do a picture and he ran off. I couldn't find him and I was so stressed. So if I'm alone, with my wife, with friends, no problem. If I'm with the kids, I can't. I need to keep hold of them.", reports OK!.
The actor also disclosed his strict personal policy regarding social media engagement, stating: "I don't do any of that. You don't want someone like me on there! I'd say stuff. I'm pretty good at watching what I say these days, because I was shipped off for some training on how to do interviews a few years back, but it took me a long time to learn. I'd get myself in so much trouble."
Despite his celebrity status, Kris is keen on preserving a normal life for his family, away from the glare of public scrutiny. He tied the knot with Hannah Dodkin in 2012, and they have since settled down in Bath with their children, Thomas and Elsie.

He admitted to having a peculiar hobby, saying: "I'd say sweeping up is my biggest hobby. There's a touch of OCD, it drives my wife mad. I think she sees me as some grumpy old man looking out of the window squinting to see if anyone's dropping litter on the drive. She's thinking, 'Get over yourself.'".
